Projects
Over the years, my focus has been on how technology can support emotional well-being and healthcare, evolving from individual support through interactive devices to system-level support through AI integration. Building on this trajectory, I aim to pursue a PhD examining how design research can support human–AI collaboration in healthcare, with a focus on: (1) understanding challenges across mental health and care pathways, (2) examining how data- and AI-enabled decision-support can facilitate coordination and collaborative decision-making, and (3) aligning innovation with ethical, regulatory, and socio-technical constraints.
The following projects illustrate how this research direction has developed, reflecting three key approaches across my work:
- conducting mixed-method research to understand needs and challenges,
- engaging stakeholders to gain real-world insights and shape outcomes,
- exploring methodological advances toward implementable and responsible integration.
